The area in front of Tate Modern is designed to allow controlled inundation at times of flooding. Numerous small interventions which allow space for water, cumulatively offer a way of managing flood risk without the construction of ever higher and more vulnerable defensive walls. The city has become greener and more harmonious. Alternative forms of energy generation include wave, wind and solar power. Greater cultural harmony is evidenced by the mosque adjacent to St. Paul's Cathedral, and the inclusion of river vessels from around the world. The three sets of siblings part company here, waving good-bye to Odysseus.
